The process belongs to the artist; the art belongs to the viewer.
some thoughts on art
Art is a personal act and a shared experience. It transcends language, time, and culture—offering a way to express what often cannot be said. For the artist, the process is deeply personal. It’s in this space of exploration and expression that the artist finds meaning, healing, or clarity.
Once the work is shared, it becomes something more. The viewer brings their own experiences and interpretations, completing the cycle of communication. What began as a private moment transforms into a point of connection—between artist and audience.
Art connects us to one another and to our collective past. It tells the stories of who we are, where we've been, and what we’ve felt across time and culture. Its beauty found, created, and preserved. Art reminds us that we are not alone, and that our stories matter.
