Croatia Cruise 2027
June 5-12, 2027
Croatia 2027

The Experience
From June 5–12, 2027, a small group of us will sail the Dalmatian Coast aboard a classic Croatian gulet — a traditional wooden luxury motor sailer about 134 feet long. This is not a cruise ship. It's a floating boutique hotel with a crew of six or seven, eleven private staterooms, open sun decks, a Jacuzzi, indoor salon dining, and the kind of access to the Adriatic that no resort can offer.
The rhythm of each day is wonderfully simple: wake up to breakfast with sea views, cruise to the next island or bay, enjoy a book on the sun deck, explore a charming coastal town on foot, swim directly off the boat in crystal-clear water, and on a few nights, gather in the evening for a meal with the group. No strict schedules to chase. No crowds.

Where We're Going
We depart from and return to Split at 12:00PM, Croatia's stunning second city, with stops along the way that include:
Hvar — one of Croatia's most celebrated islands, known for its lavender fields, medieval old town, and vibrant waterfront
Sucaraj — the hometown of our winemaker partner, Frané Franičević, for a deeply personal stop with local connections you simply can't find on your own
Korčula — a remarkably preserved walled city, said to be the birthplace of Marco Polo
Brač — home to the famous Zlatni Rat beach and the white stone used to build the White House
Final details and itinerary are subject to change due to weather, unforeseen circumstances and "bonus content" (things we as a group decide to do along the way), but these are the main islands, and we can't wait to explore them together.

The Wine Experience
What sets this trip apart is the partnership with Frané and Janea Franičević, owners of Sunce Winery in Sonoma County — and Frané's Croatian roots run deep. Sailing with them means private wine tastings, personal introductions to friends in the local wine community, and stories about the region that you'd never hear otherwise. This isn't a wine tour layered onto a cruise. The wine is woven into the fabric of who we're traveling with and where we're going.
